Help us keep the flame burning

The Yossie Raichik Shul has grown to include ____________ young families. Their enthusiasm and energy have helped make the Shul a real center of Jewish acitivity. Whether it's a farbrengen, a kiddush, a Sheva Brochos, the Shul is a focal point of community life. This is what we hoped for when we broke ground.

What we didn't expect, were the numbers of older women from the neighborhood who found a home at the Yossie Raichik Shul. We are thrilled to have this diversity, and for the balance it provides. The women who daven at our Shul are serious, but friendly, and the atmosphere is lively and chassidish.

In order to accommodate the increase in demand for women's seating, we are planning an outside extension of the women's section. This will allow the participation of many women not part of the community, and also allow young mothers to participate in the davening while monitoring their children playing outdoors.

We are committed to supporting and increasing the Shul's ability to serve the community. If you would like to support this project, please visit Keep the Flame Burning to make a donation in any amount.
